The Rigid edition of Levi's Vintage Clothing's 1955 501XX is made from 100% cotton, non-stretch red selvedge denim. Its roomy seat, fuller leg and boxier silhouette reproduce the proportions of the 1955 model. A button fly, concealed back-pocket rivets and the paper Two Horse patch retain its period construction. The unwashed denim shrinks with washing and develops creases and fading through wear.
