Architecture is a key feature in this new edition of Bodil Kjær’s vase, designed in the early 1960s.
Skyscraper is made of transparent glass mechanically pressed into a cast-iron mould to create the shape of a building and its elegant architectural details, an extremely arduous process, due to the considerable thickness of the glass.
Its sculptural shape is achieved through a particularly complex glass process requiring excellent artisan skills.
