The Tera Nova ZV9X represents the fusion of rigidity, precision and high-fidelity performance. Designed for demanding listeners, it is built to deliver exceptional stability and transparency while revealing the finest details contained in a record.

Its solid aluminium plinth measures 470 x 420 x 70 mm and has a thickness of 16.2 mm. A POM isolation damping plate and edge-angle damping design support effective resonance control, while three height-adjustable aluminium feet with solid brass spikes provide stable and isolated placement. The construction follows Zavfino’s approach of using carefully selected materials and mechanical geometry to reduce unwanted vibration before it can reach the cartridge.

The CNC-contoured POM-composite platter is 60 mm thick, measures 298 mm in diameter and weighs 6.2 kg. The inverted bearing combines a stainless steel axis, Teflon thrust plate, bronze coupling and silicone ring suspension. This construction is designed to minimise friction and support stable speed performance.

The motor is housed in a separate solid aluminium motor assembly weighing 1.8 kg. It uses a 9V low-torque 50/60 Hz motor with POM pulley and enables electronic selection of 33.3 rpm and 45 rpm, including fine pitch speed adjustment. The external controller supports 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz operation.

The Tera Nova ZV9X is supplied with the Aeshna 9.5" tonearm. The arm uses a hybrid construction with aluminium, carbon fibre and titanium elements. Vertical movement is handled by a knife-edge bearing, while horizontal movement is guided by ceramic bearings. With an effective mass of approximately 8.5 g, it is suitable for demanding MM and lighter MC cartridges.

The Tera Nova ZV9X can also be expanded with an optional second adjustable tonearm base for 9–9.5" tonearms and an additional arm socket for tonearms from 9–12". Finish options include Satin Black Metallic and Charcoal Powdercoat for the plinth. The platter is optionally available in Charcoal Gray or as a solid 45 mm aluminium platter.
