Instead of the traditional backing, this version integrates a built-in Anti-Halation Undercoat (AHU), preserving the same beautiful color rendering and sensitivity as the classic 50D. No need to adjust your exposure settings or change your workflow.

Unlike CineStill, where the anti-halation layer is removed — often resulting in glow and halations — Kodak’s AHU keeps the highlights clean and natural. And best of all, this version can be developed using standard C-41 chemistry, making it easier than ever to shoot true motion picture film in 35mm format.
