Deep indigo denim and crisp contrast stitching give this Rigid version of the 1954 501ZXX its clean appearance. Reproduced by Levi's Vintage Clothing, it has five pockets and a leg that narrows slightly towards the hem. Its zip fly recalls the original 501Z, introduced in 1954 as an alternative to the traditional button-fly 501. The back is finished with arcuate stitching, a Big E red tab and Two Horse patch. Unwashed selvedge denim is intended to develop creasing and fading with wear.
